Metals naturally oxidize over time. Your jewelry can be gently polished using a polishing cloth. If the patina has darkened significantly, polish gently with warm water and dish soap, dry completely and polish with polishing cloth. Gemstones vary in hardness and in many circumstances may chip or crack, be sure to protect them from roughness and impact. While wearing your jewelry avoid swimming, bathing or excess sweating. Store in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
